Last week, PENTION joined Europol’s annual networking and alignment meeting bringing together Horizon Europe security projects at Europol’s Headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands.
The event was a great opportunity to present the PENTION project to law enforcement agencies, EU institutions and fellow Horizon Europe projects, and to explore synergies with other cutting-edge security research initiatives tackling synthetic drug detection, forensics and border management.
As a project developing a next-generation vapour detection system for synthetic drugs and precursors, connecting with the broader EU security research community is essential, and this meeting was exactly the right place to do it!
We are also pleased to highlight that our project partner from Precision Plus Consulting participated in the panel “Reflections on Public-Private Cooperation”, contributing to the discussion on how collaboration between research, policy and practice can help maximise impact in the European security landscape.
A special thanks to the Europol Innovation Lab for organising this important event and for fostering structured cooperation between research and practice.
Stay tuned for more updates on PENTION’s progress!
