It has been a busy week for the PENTION Project, bringing our technology and our team closer to the European security innovation community.
On 29 September, PENTION took part in the CERIS Workshop on Innovation Uptake in Brussels, represented by STAM S.r.l., technical partner of the project, together with project coordinator MION Technologies.
Alongside other EU-funded security projects, the team presented the innovation behind PENTION and the advanced vapour detection technology we are developing to support the detection of drugs and precursors.
The event offered a valuable opportunity to exchange with security practitioners, researchers and innovators, compare approaches and discuss a key challenge for security research: how to move promising technologies from development towards effective operational use.
For PENTION, this is exactly where technology and teamwork come together: combining scientific and engineering expertise with operational knowledge to develop a solution that can respond to real security needs.
And there was more to come. From sharing our innovation with the European security community in Brussels, the next step brought the PENTION team even closer to the field!
